Transport of an accident victim to the Harlaching Clinic, 1970
The crew of a rescue helicopter (pilots, paramedics and doctors) take an accident victim on a stretcher from the landing site to the Klinikum Harlaching. These missions with rescue helicopters were pilot projects of the Luftrettung (air rescue service) of Bundeswehr, Bergwacht (mountain rescue service) and doctors of Munich hospitals. As of 01.11.1970 the Bundeswehr withdrew from the project, the ADAC stepped in and with "Christoph 1" established the first continuous operation of a (civilian) rescue helicopter.
