Along the "East-West Axis" in Berlin (today: Unter den Linden - Strasse des 17. Juni - Ernst-Reuter-Platz - Bismarckstrasse) was held a parade in honor of the visit of Prince Paul of Yugoslavia on 02.06.1939. At that time Prince Paul was regent of Yugoslavia, as King Peter II was still underaged and was invited by Hitler to spend nine days in Berlin. This is the last parade held before the outbreak of World War II. The picture shows marching paratroopers.

On the occasion of the harvest festival 1936 on the Bueckeberg members of the Luftwaffe perform a few parachute jumps. This festival was called Reichserntedankfest and was celebrated between 1933-1937. The ceremony took place on the first Sunday of October on the Reichsthingplatz. Starting 1935 here were held large Wehrmacht maneuvers of almost all armed service branches. Since the paratroopers were formed on 29.01.1936, this was the first time they were present at the maneuver on the Bueckeberg.

On the occasion of the Erntedenkfest (harvest festival) in 1936 on the Bueckeberg, the Luftwaffe showed some parachute jumps during their demonstration. This feast was the "Reichserntedankankfest", which was celebrated annually from 1933 to 1937. The festivities were held on the first Sunday of October on the Reichsthingplatz. Starting 1935 every year was held a large Wehrmacht maneuver of almost all branches. Since the Fallschirmjaeger (paratroopers) unit was formed on 29.01.1936, this was the first time when they were presented during this maneuver on the Bueckeberg in 1936.
