At the 175th anniversary of the Militaer-Knaben-Erziehungsanstalt (military youth institute) in Annaburg, the young pupils stand guard in traditional Frederician costume. Most of the teachers and commanders were retired officers who taught the youngsters order and obedience as well as Spartan modesty.
