Ladies from Hamburgs high society waiting for the arrival of the Persian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlevi and his wife Farah Diba at the airport in Hamburg. After the violent riots the day before in Berlin and the death of the student Benno Ohnesorg in course of the demonstrations, police takes drastic measures against protesters. Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and his wife Farah Diba stay 30 hours in Hamburg under strict police protection.
