Princess Irene of Prussia (nee Hesse-Darmstadt, wearing a black dress in the centre of the picture) was a prominent guest of the last Prinz-Heinrich-Fahrt in 1911, which had been sponsored by her husband Henry of Prussia. Here she is in Bremerhaven. On the right is the imperial mail steamer "Grosser Kurfuerst" of the Norddeutscher Lloyd, aboard which Henry of Prussia was also in Southampton during this voyage.
