The Alpine World Ski Championships took place in Val Gardena between 7.2.1970 and 15.2.1970, and it had been the only World Cup so far, the results of which were included in the Alpine Ski World Cup. Two participating female athletes wearing a ski suit and a ski helmet stand at the foot of a piste, and they are probably watching the run of a rival or a teammate.
