The refugee family Barmiske in their presumably self-built hut near Muenster. After the end of World War II they were probably expelled from Silesia and built their new lives here. The picture shows the children's room, from the beds peep out the sons. Die Familie lebte wohl bereits seit einigen Jahren in dieser Siedlungsbarracke. Diese Aufnahmen wurden wahrscheinlich anlässlich des Inkrafttretens der Genfer Flüchtlingskonvention im April 1954 gemacht.
