The crew of the Pamir Airways, Freiherr von Gablenz, flight captain Untucht and their radio operator Karl Kirchhoff in Berlin-Tempelhof after crossing the Pamir mountains with a Junkers Ju 52. The crew was detained for four weeks in Chotan, China after a stopover.
