They are photographed by a jounalist. Das Grabmal sollte an alle gefallenen französischen Soldaten des 1. Weltkriegs erinnern. 1920 wurde hier ein nicht identifizierter Soldaten beerdigt, der in der Schlacht von Verdun gefallen war.
