The load of the Sturmgeschuetz III was too heavy for the wooden bridge across a small river west of Moscow. At the withdrawal of the Wehrmacht, after the unsuccessful battle of Moscow, a large number of heavy vehicles had to be left behind or destroyed. (PK photo: war correspondent Koll).
