The Catholic Campion Propaganda Committee has called for a demonstration on Battery Square in front of the German consulate in New York to protest against religious persecution and oppression of Jews by the Nazi regime. On the protest posters you can see the inscriptions (from front): ''Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for justice. For they shall be filled", "Catholics and Jews join in Anti-Nazi Protest" sowie "Catholics protest Nazi terror".
