The Campion Propaganda Committee has called for a demonstration on Battery Square before the German consulate in New York to protest against religious persecution and oppression of Jews by the Nazi regime. On the protest placards you can see the inscriptions: "Catholics and Jews join in anti-Nazi protest", "Catholics protest Nazi terror", "Blessed are they that hunger and thirst for justice. For They Shall be filled" and "The Catholic Church is anti-fascist".
