Wehrmacht soldiers show the use of an MG 08 to curious children. The photo was taken during the autumn maneuvers of the Artillerie-Führers III in the area of Neisse at Bechau. The "Artillerie-Fuehrers III" was a division of the Reichswehr, which was responsible for the tactical command of the artillery of the 3rd Division of the Reichswehr. The name was used for camouflage purposes even after the enlargement of the Reichswehr in 1934.
