In 1943 the students of the year 1926/27 are called for service in the air force in the anti-aircraft division as assistants helping to defend against allied air attacks. The boys pictured are marching to their barracks in the suburbs of Berlin under the leadership of an older Corporal who is no longer fit to serve at the front.
