A decree on the compulsory delivery of agricultural products from the year 1960. The land reform enactment adopted in the Soviet occupation zone of Germany (SBZ) at the beginning of September 1945 resulted in the expropriation without compensation of 14,000 large and specialist agricultural concerns with about 3.3 million hectares of land initially distributed primarily to farm workers, landless peasants and displaced persons. Through forced collectivization, this land was mostly owned by the Landwirtschaftliche Produktionsgenossenschaft (LPG) until 1960.
