election results arrives in Marienburg (Malbork) on the occasion of the referendum. Through the Treaty of Versailles, most of West Prussia went to Poland without a vote (Polish corridor). On 11 July 1920 a vote took place east of the Vistula river in West Prussia and southern east Prussia on whether these two regions should go to either the Reich or to Poland. In West Prussia 92 percent voted to remain part of empire, and 98 percent voted the same in West Prussia.
