On his return from Paris to Berlin, the 'Iron Gustav' visits the Opel works in Russelsheim. There he receives an Opel cap as a gift. His horse 'Grasmus' will be 'retired' after the return. The 'Iron Gustav', aka Gustav Hartmann, took with his cab a ride to Paris and back in 1928, in order to protest against the suppression of cabs by motorized taxis. The trip attracted huge attention in the public and made Hartmann a celebrity.
