The German Navy airship 'L 59' (LZ 104) before arrival at its Bulgarian base. After its first flight on 10 October 1917 the airship became renown for its trip to German East Africa, from which it was recalled at the halfway mark. In 1918 the L 59 went down in flames above the Strait of Otranto.
