Some Munich citizens watch from the roofs of their houses the flight of the Zeppelin airship 'LZ 3' above their city. After the 'LZ 3' was partially destroyed on 14.12.1907 at the downfall of the Reichsschwimmhalle, ran around 4400 km till its transfer to the Army. As a section was extended it was transferred to Metz as the military airship 'Z I' on 29/06/1909 and stationed there.
