The Social Democratic Party organized an anti-war rally in the Berlin Lustgarten on the occasion of the beginning of the war 16 years ago on 1 August 1930. The Reichstag representatives Kuenstler and Crispien gave speeches in which they stressed the pacifist spirit of social democracy and sharply criticized the civil government.
