Alfred Hugenberg (1865-1951), German industrialist and politician. Since 1916 he was the Leader of the Hugenberg concern, whose journalistic institutions ensured large influence on the public opinion. Since 1928 Hugenberg was the Party Chairman of the German National People's Party (DNVP).
