Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels visits the Eastern Front for the last time. On the marketplace of the Silesian town of Lauban he distinguishes on this occasion the Hitler Youth member Wilhelm Huebner with the Iron Cross. On 19.03.1945 Wilhelm Huebner was received in the Reich Chancellery by Adolf Hitler as well. He survived the war.
