Following the resignation of Chancellor Heinrich Bruening 30 May 1932 Franz von Papen (1879-1969) took over the chancellorship and formed a cabinet of 'national concentration'. In the Cabinet Papen (06.01.1932-17.11.1932) were from left: Minister for Food Magnus Freiherr von Braun, Reich Interior Minister Wilhelm Freiherr von Gayl, Chancellor Franz von Papen, Foreign Minister Konstantin Freiherr von Neurath. In the 2 Row from left standing: Minister of Justice Franz Gurtner, Economic and Labor Minister Hermann Warmbold and Defense Minister General Kurt von Schleicher.
