The painter from Duesseldorf Wilhelm Beckmann with a pallet inspecting one of his just finished paintings 'The National Party of the German work in the Tempelhof Field 1 May 1933.It was commissioned by the Propaganda Ministry. For the execution of his order Beckmann founded a studio in the United States school.
