The Volunteer Corps of Werdenfels, a volunteer unit of farmers and citizens from the area around Garmisch during a parade in Maximilianstrasse. In order to play down the high percentage of Prussian government troops, the role of Bavarian unity was stressed by the press of Munich. The involvement of the Volunteer Corps in the struggles during the recapture of Munich however, is highly improbable.
