10 weeks after the beginning of the war, the propaganda published a caricature of Erik (Hanns Erich Koehler). The original text of the caricature: Englishmen are gentlemen - they like to spit on the floor - but they prefer to face the truth. Among some members of the upper class there were still sympathy for England.
